Labour Force Composition
The Battlefords region supports many industries. Similar to the rest of Saskatchewan, agriculture feeds a large part of the economy. The Battlefords serve as the hub for communities in the Northwest as employment in the Battlefords is supported by surrounding communities and helps build the economy base as a whole.
