Truck Transportation
There are numerous trucking companies serving the Battlefords as the community serves as the hub of five major highways: 16, 4, 26, 29, & 40. The Trans Canada Yellowhead Highway (Highway 16), which connects Saskatoon to Edmonton via the Battlefords, allows excellent access both east and west.

Air Transportation
The Cameron McIntosh Airport, with a 5,000- foot long, 150- foot wide main runway and an additional 2,565- foot long, 50- foot wide crosswind runway, is capable of handling aircraft as large as a 737. Passenger Transportation
The Saskatchewan Transportation Corporation (STC) and Greyhound Canada provide regular passenger and freight services to the Battlefords.
A local transit system provides transportation from the residential areas to commercial areas throughout the community. A special transportation service is also available for residents with disabilities. Crown Cab provides taxi service.
Rail Transport
CN Rail provides commercial rail service to the Battlefords region.
ViaRail passes by North Battleford providing passenger travel to the east or west. The nearest station is in Saskatoon.
