Residential Incentives

The Town of Battleford offers a Residential Builders Incentive program that is open to any individual(s) wanting to construct a new home, single family residence or new RTM (ready to move home) in the Town of Battleford.
All approved applicants of the Town of Battleford Residential Builders Incentive program will be eligible for the following incentives:
1) No municipal or school taxes will be levied for a 2-year period, commencing 90 days from the date the building permit is approved by Council.
2) No plumbing permit fees will be levied and the applicant is responsible for 50% of the building permit fee.
3) No environment levy or minimum residential sewer and water bills will be charged for 2 years from the date of the utility deposit application, but any water used beyond the minimum will be charged for.
4) A credit of $450 will be applied to the sewer and water service connections costs – the property portion only.
